*Creamer potatoes grilled with a blend of herbs and spices, then tossed in a creamy barbecue dressing with bacon and green onions – great warm or cold!

So grilling potatoes is my new favorite thing.

Maybe I’ve mentioned this before (nod your head and smile like you actually read those posts), but I never really cared much about grilling before this summer. This summer, I’m all about bringing you the best of the summer season.

Potato salad. Grilled potatoes. Barbecue. Bacon.

Seemed like a pretty good combo to me.

And it was.

Maybe I’ve also mentioned once or twice that I don’t reeeeally eat salad. I mean, I eat potato salad (duh). And fruit salad and taco salad and maybe jello salad (it’s a thing, right?). But I just can’t do regular green salad.

And in most cases, I even cringe at a jar of mayo. But potato salad? I love it! Even the regular old potato salad with just the mayo. I don’t know what it is. There’s nothing I love more than some potato salad with my barbecue.

I thought about adding barbecue sauce to my potato salad “dressing”, and I’m a big fan of barbecue and bacon together. And I really wanted to try making a potato salad with grilled potatoes (warm or cold) to add to that smokey barbecue bacon potato salad.

And also because I have these handy BBQ Ready packs from The Little Potato Company (shameless plug – I just love them!). You might have seen them in this No Dishes Grilled Breakfast Casserole I made with them last month? You’re probably not going to want to miss that one.

The best part of this here?

I mean, besides the grilled potatoes and the barbecue sauce and the bacon.

I absolutely Love the little potatoe companies potatoes never thought once to use them in a potato salad and with bacon and BBQ sauce. Yup think that’s on the menu tonight. I usually cut them up add spices, butter, onion , cheese bacon crumbs wrap in foil and place on BBQ.

I’d love to make my buffalo chicken casserole with these cute potatoes. I was at the grocery store the other day and saw the little potato company. It totally reminded me of you and I knew I had to buy them. When I came home with them my hubby asked me why I bought them. My response was because Ashley eats them. 🙂 This recipe looks amazing and I’m so making these this week! Pinned!! 🙂

  5. Jenifer says

It would be so hard to pick! Probably roasted potatoes on the barbecue because unfortunately my children don’t love the potato salad like my hubby and I do… or that maple potato salad would probably be the undoing of my husband! Ha!

  6. Kay says

I would grill, add butter, fresh farm cream, bit of garlic and dill. Yummmmmmmm!! My mouth is watering!

  7. Mary Frances says

Bacon can do no wrong. Once my mom started adding that to her potato salad, we’ve never let her turn back! It’s time for BBQ to meet our picnic table because good gosh it looks amazing!

  8. judy vonbon says

I was never a fan of traditional potato salad, but this looks and sounds amazing. Little Potato Company? Frozen or chilled? Where do I find in the grocery store?

    • Ashley says

At my store, they are sometimes in the chilled produce section and sometimes in the regular produce section. Thanks Judy!

  9. Stephanie H says

I would make a breakfast side dish of potatoes, onions, and mushrooms with garlic seasonings to go with our omelettes!

  10. Ramona Ham says

I used to work in a B-B-Q joint and one of the items on our menu was a stuffed baked potato! I never even thought to make a tater salad using B-B-Q sauce (w/ bacon no less). Sounds delish!!! (Though, I would most definitely try a bit of sour cream on top.)
