Hello and welcome!
The Recipe Rebel is home to more than 1300 easy, comfort food recipes, ranging from quick weeknight dinners to simple baked goods and fun treats.
Founded by Ashley Fehr in 2014, The Recipe Rebel is all about making it easier and more fun to share food with the people we love.

Our Mission
Our recipes are designed to be simple, with minimal ingredients and dishes but big flavor.
We all know what it’s like to find a recipe that looks delicious but has an ingredient list 24 lines long — that is not what you’ll find here!
We aim to make your favorite recipes in a more nourishing way with simple ingredients and minimal stress. We share no-fuss comfort food for the whole family, with recipes that are approachable for home cooks of any skill level.

We also offer printable, downloadable menu plans every month to take the stress our of meal planning. You can subscribe here to get these delivered to your inbox every month.
How we got here
Our founder Ashley Fehr started The Recipe Rebel in early 2014 while teaching high school and raising her toddler.
She grew up making her mom’s go-to recipes (check out Mom’s Chocolate Chip Cookies and Mom’s Homemade Buns), but grew truly passionate about cooking and creating when she moved out and had her own kitchen.
As life got busier, with a high school teaching job, toddler and new baby on the way, she quickly grew to understand the importance of making recipes accessible and approachable. Good food doesn’t have to be complicated!
She started The Recipe Rebel to share easier versions of her favorite meals with simpler ingredients and processes.
