The Best Smoothie Recipes are the perfect breakfast or snack and great for on-the go! With plenty of vitamins, fiber and protein to keep you going all day.
We are big smoothie lovers around here!
For us, a smoothie could be a snack, a meal or dessert, depending on the time of day and all of the good things we cram into it.
We’ve accumulated quite a few favorites, so I wanted to share our list here in case you’re looking for some smoothie recipe inspiration!
What we love about smoothies:
They’re quick: I can’t name another snack or meal that is as quick to make and packs in the same kind of nutritional punch!
They’re customizable: no yogurt? Add cottage cheese or milk. Running low on fruit? Use what you have. All of your fruit is fresh? Add some ice cubes to thicken it up. There are so many ways to customize so you have no excuses!
They’re never boring: with so many flavor combinations and variations, you can have a different smoothie every day of the month.
Protein + fiber: fruit is naturally high in fiber (and all kinds of other good things), and I always add a source of protein to my smoothies as well, whether this be Greek yogurt, protein powder, cottage cheese, or another.
