So… I’ve eaten an embarrassing amount of sugar in the past few months.
The problem is, with this here blog, I start cooking for holidays about 3 months before they actually happen. So I’ve been Christmas baking since about September, and then when December actually comes, I’m even more in the mood to bake, just for fun!
I end up with 3 months of cookies and candies and cakes and alllllll that good stuff, with not a lot of the “moderation” I usually strive for.
Seriously, December arrives and all reason just goes right out the window.
So here I am, end of December, and I’m making the same New Years Resolution that everyone makes: to eat healthier and be healthier.
You will still find a good balance of sweet and savory recipes, and I will still be posting some absolutely indulgent treats for those days you’ve had a one year old wrapped around your leg screaming at you all day and you JUST NEED SOME CHOCOLATE (I know nothing about those days…. in case you’re wondering…).
