Can you guys believe it’s the middle of November?! How did that happen?

I’d like to say that my Christmas shopping is half done, but in reality? I haven’t even thought about it. I did get the Christmas tree up this week, but really only because my 3 year old woke up an hour earlier than usual one morning and I figured we may as well do it while my littlest one was sleeping.

Normally, I’m the kind of person who likes to get everything done well in advance, and while I have lots of great Christmas recipes coming up for you in December, I haven’t put a lot of thought into Christmas aside from this here blog.

How about you? Are you a planner or do you leave everything until the last minute?

Hi Ashley! I already copied off the Chicken Marsala Stew! I finally broke down and bought a new crockpot the other day. My old one was 25 years old (and cost me a whopping $8.00), so I figured it was time! Those blondies are calling my name too! 🙂

That one’s definitely on my list — I hope you enjoy it! My mom has a crockpot she’s had forever, and I even tried to buy her a new one for Christmas once and she gave it to my sister! Lol. Sometimes it’s hard to switch out kitchen appliances you know and love 🙂 I hope your new one works just as well! 🙂
