Happy Weekend friends! I’m back again with another weekly menu plan with recipes from some fabulous bloggers.
It’s also Thanksgiving here in Canada this weekend, which probably seems really strange and early for those of you in the United States, but I actually really love having Thanksgiving in October. By the end of November we are most likely covered in snow here in Manitoba, and I just love getting to celebrate Thanksgiving amidst the changing leaves and still somewhat mild temperatures! Fall is my favorite season by far!
I’m thankful for
- our family: our 2 sweet girls and my husband, and that we get to have the rest of our family close by so we can celebrate most holidays with them.
- this beautiful place we get to live: I’m so thankful that we’re out of town now, and from every window I see changing, falling leaves and I just can’t get enough of it. It’s so peaceful!
- an extended maternity leave: this week marked my last 4 months home with the kiddos, and I know that seems like a long time, but it’s not really compared to 14.5 months! I’m so thankful that I was able to spend some extra time home with them, and that we can have a more relaxed holiday season together before I head back to work.
- all of you! You’re the reason I’m able to continue doing this. There’s no way I would be able to put as much time and effort into everything this blog require if there was no one reading, making or enjoying the recipes.
